A tribute concert to Joe Zawinul will be carried out on April 6 at Albany University in New York, by the Bob Gluck Group.
Bob Gluck's latest CD (about to be released on the British jazz label FMR), "Sideways" includes a creative new trio version of 'Unknown Soldier' (with Michael Bisio, bass; Dean Sharp, drums; and Bob Gluck on piano and electronics) and solo versions of 'A Remark You Made' and another solo, based upon 'Pharoah's Dance' called 'Yet Another Pharoah.'
